The game begins with a female bull shark, scarred and seeking vengeance against a fisherman who harmed her as a pup and killed her mother. You'll navigate a vast open world, hunting and consuming various aquatic life—fish, turtles, and more—to gain nutrients and rare mutagenics for evolution.
But your diet isn't limited to fish. Wreak havoc along the coast, destroying yachts and ships, and knocking humans off jet skis. The world reacts to your actions; the more chaos you create, the more human bounty hunters will pursue you. Eliminating these hunters unlocks special skills.
The game features a variety of predators, including muskellunge, barracuda, alligators, sperm whales, orcas, and other sharks. Each region boasts its own apex predator – a larger, unique variant of a common species (think great barracuda, shortfin mako, etc.). Defeating these apex predators grants you powerful new abilities.
