Despite a decline in the overall Black Ops 6 player base, the Zombies mode retains a dedicated and substantial community. The wave-based gameplay, focusing on progressively challenging enemies, often prioritizes combat upgrades over story completion for many players. A recent Call of Duty blog post reveals that Directed mode increased the main quest completion rate from a mere 4% to 8.23%. This impressive statistic is based on a staggering 480 million hours of Black Ops 6 Zombies gameplay, with a small portion of that data collected since the November 14th launch of Directed mode. Treyarch's goal of increasing main quest participation through Directed mode is demonstrably successful, given the doubling of completion rates.
