GOG resurrects the cult classic survival horror games, Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2, with DRM-free PC re-releases. Both PlayStation titles are now available on GOG's platform as part of their Preservation Program, retaining their original content.
Released in 1999 and 2000 respectively, these games represent a nostalgic trip for fans. While hopes for a new entry or HD remake persist, Capcom's focus on titles like Exoprimal and statements from creator Shinji Mikami suggest a Dino Crisis revival remains unlikely.
These PC ports, previously difficult to run on modern systems, are now enhanced for optimal playability. GOG highlights the improvements:

- Six localizations (English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Japanese).
- Original, Arrange, and Operation Wipe Out modes.
- Improved DirectX renderer.

- Enhanced game registry settings.
- Bug fixes for animation, video, music, and saving (no more save file corruption).

Dino Crisis 2 (GOG Version):
- Full Windows 10 and 11 compatibility.
