When Did Shroodle Come to Pokemon GO?

The Toxic Mouse Pokemon, Shroodle, made its debut in *Pokemon GO* on January 15, 2025, during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. Originally introduced in *Pokemon Scarlet & Violet*, Shroodle adds a fresh face to the Pokemon universe. Post its debut event, Shroodle will continue to be available for trainers to collect.

Can Shroodle Be Shiny?

At its initial release, Shroodle will not have a Shiny variant available in *Pokemon GO*. Trainers can look forward to its Shiny form being introduced in a future event, possibly one focusing on Poison-type Pokemon or involving Team GO Rocket.

How To Get Shroodle in Pokemon GO

Unlike some Pokemon that appear in the wild, Shroodle can only be obtained by hatching it from 12KM eggs. Starting from 12 AM local time on January 15, 12KM eggs have the chance to hatch into Shroodle. During the Fashion Week: Taken Over event, Shroodle might be more common, but it will remain part of the 12KM egg pool moving forward.

How To Get 12K Eggs

Since Shroodle is exclusive to 12KM eggs, it's helpful to know how to acquire these rare eggs in *Pokemon GO*. The only way to get 12K eggs is by defeating Team GO Rocket Leaders or Giovanni in battle. The Taken Over event is an ideal time to collect these eggs, as Team GO Rocket will be more active and Rocket Radars will be easier to obtain. However, you can challenge Sierra, Arlo, and Cliff at any time to earn a 12K egg, provided you have space in your inventory.

How To Get Grafaiai in Pokemon GO

Shroodle's evolution, Grafaiai, also debuted on January 15 in *Pokemon GO*. Grafaiai does not hatch from eggs or appear in the wild; the only way to obtain it is by evolving a Shroodle. Evolving Shroodle into Grafaiai requires 50 Shroodle Candy, which means you'll need to hatch multiple Shroodle or set Shroodle as your buddy to gather the necessary Candy.
