Game Introduction
This Sheepshead card game app lets you play three-, four-, or five-handed games against AI opponents anytime. It's a single-player experience featuring computer-controlled competition. Sheepshead uses a 32-card deck (7-8-9-10-J-Q-K-A in four suits).
Game Features
- Multiple Player Modes: Supports three-, four-, and five-handed game modes.
- Tournaments: Compete in ten-hand tournaments to determine the highest scorer.
- Partnership Variations: Offers Ace partner (allowing calls of unknown cards, 10s, or going alone), Jack of Diamonds, and Call-up-next-Jack (enabled by default, but disableable in options). In three- and four-handed games, the picker has no partner.
- Four All-Pass Scoring Styles: Choose from Leasters, Doublers, Showdowns (winner determined by trump in hand, lowest score wins; Q=3, J=2, others=1 point), or No Selection (dealer is forced to pick).
- Scoring Options: Select between "Double on the bump" (default) or "Single on the bump" scoring.
- Knocking Option: Enable or disable knocking (also known as rapping or cracking) in the options menu.
- Statistics Tracking: Monitors your game statistics, including wins, tricks taken, and times picked.
- Google Games Integration: Includes leaderboards ("High Score") and achievements based on game score and tricks taken. Disable automated Google Games sign-in in App Settings.
- Large Print Cards: For easier viewing.
- Double Tap to Play: Enable this option to select a card with a single tap and play it with a second tap. This helps correct accidental card selections.
