This decision, announced on December 5th, alongside the launch of Black Ops 6 Season 1 Reloaded and its holiday events (including Holiday Rush Quads and Slay Ride Resurgence), has sparked controversy. Many players are frustrated that addressing the COR-45 glitch seems to take precedence over tackling Warzone's persistent cheating problem. Removing certain attachments and adding the XRK Tactical Stock effectively turned the COR-45 into an overpowered SMG with an exceptionally fast time-to-kill (TTK). This rendered the weapon far too dominant in the current meta. The temporary restriction allows developers time to implement a permanent fix.
