How to Knock Out Enemies in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

While a full-on assault is always an option in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, sometimes a more subtle approach is necessary. Subduing enemies without killing them can often be the more strategic choice. Here's how to knock out enemies and NPCs in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*:

Knocking Out Enemies in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Leaving a trail of unconscious bodies isn't always ideal in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. Sometimes, incapacitating an enemy is the better play. Here's how to do it:

Crouch using the circle button, then stealthily approach an NPC from behind. Once close enough, a "Knock Out" prompt will appear in the bottom right corner. Press the indicated button to attempt the knockout. If a blue icon with swords appears, press R2 to successfully knock out the NPC. If Henry fails the initial attempt and the NPC struggles, a shield icon will appear; press L2 to restrain them and complete the knockout. Failure on both attempts will likely result in a fight.

Your success rate depends heavily on the NPC's strength and Henry's own strength stat. However, certain perks can significantly improve your chances:

  • Tight Grip
  • Sandman

Both perks increase your knockout success rate, making stealth significantly easier.

How to Stealth Kill Enemies

For a more lethal, silent approach, equip a dagger. The process is similar to knocking someone out: sneak up from behind. With a dagger equipped, a stealth kill prompt will appear, allowing for a silent elimination.

That's all you need to know about subduing enemies in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For more tips and guides, including information on obtaining Herb Paris and romancing Katherine, be sure to check out The Escapist.
