Battlecruisers is marking its fourth anniversary with a bang, as Mecha Weka unveils their most extensive update yet: the 'Trans Edition'. This colossal update is packed with exciting new content for both single-player and multiplayer enthusiasts.
What’s in Store in Battlecruisers 6.4 Trans Edition?
The update introduces three new cruisers: Goatherd, Pistol, and Megalith, each ready to shake up the battlefield. Alongside these, two new buildings, Cannon and Sledgehammer, and two new units, SpyPlane and MissileFighter, are now at your command.
Existing cruisers aren't left out either, as they receive a fresh wave of customization options with three new bodykits: Longbow Fringe, Rickshaw Scathis, and Yeti Corpse Piler, allowing you to tailor your ships to your preferred style and strategy.
In Skirmishes, you can now select from Man o’ War, Huntress Prime, and Fortress Prime, adding more variety to your tactical choices. PvP matches have been enhanced with a new countdown start and aircraft trails that match player colors, making for a more immersive experience.
The game's balancing sees extensive changes as well. Ships like the Raptor get significant buffs, with shield build and recharge rate now at 5x, up from 3x, while the Hammerhead's health increases to 4200 from 4000. The ShipTurret also receives a damage boost from 40 to 60, though its range decreases slightly from 19 to 16.
Visual enhancements are also a major highlight. Battlecruisers now features stunning underwater transparency, allowing you to admire the wreckage of your vanquished foes. The sea's shading and the improved visuals of Cruiser and Ship destructions add a dramatic flair to your battles.
Played the Game Yet?
Since its debut in 2021, Battlecruisers has consistently rolled out major updates annually. The Trans Edition adds to this tradition with new SideQuests and the introduction of a mysterious Battlefortress hidden in the South Pacific.
Set in the year 2732 on a Flooded Earth, the game's universe is populated solely by robots engaged in construction and warfare. As a player, you command your Battlecruiser, customizing it with turrets, nuke launchers, and ultraweapons to combat a formidable array of enemies.
