In Freedom Wars Remastered, the Cell Garden is a pivotal location you'll encounter early in the main storyline. This serene area not only plays a key role in the narrative but also serves as a safe haven for resource farming, offering a stark contrast to the dangers of typical operations.
Throughout the game, you'll discover multiple Cell Gardens, but the method to locate them remains consistent across all levels. Here’s a detailed guide on finding these gardens and understanding their mechanics for resource collection.
Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances In Freedom Wars Remastered
Your journey to the Cell Garden begins with a mission from Mattias, who sends you on a quest to investigate the mysterious ghost girl story. To reach the Cell Garden, head to the main cell block on Level 2, specifically area 2-A000. From your cell, scan the left corner of the block to spot a small room that resembles an elevator. Interact with it to be transported to area 2-E165, the same place where you encountered Enzo.
Upon arriving at 2-E165, hug the right wall until you find another small room with a device that will take you to 2-G100. The process repeats one more time as you'll find the final device in the far room of 2-G100, which will finally lead you to the Cell Garden.
This path to the Cell Garden is uniform across all levels, and unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement can significantly reduce the time spent navigating to it. Once you've completed the main quest linked to the Cell Garden, you gain the freedom to visit it anytime, across any level. However, acquiring a specific Entitlement first can enhance your experience.
Each device that leads to the next room or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon above it, making them easy to identify.
How Does The Cell Garden Work In Freedom Wars Remastered
The mechanics of the Cell Garden differ slightly between the main story mission and regular visits. Outside of the main quest, here's how the Cell Garden operates:
- You're granted a one-minute window before being automatically ejected.
- The layout of the room changes with each visit, ensuring a fresh challenge.
- Eight resource nodes, symbolized by small green orbs, are scattered across the floor.
To maximize your time in the Cell Garden, consider purchasing Entitlements from the Window on Liberty. These upgrades can extend your stay, which is particularly useful given that some layouts feature more complex puzzles. The first upgrade, available at CODE level 3, allows you to remain in the garden for two minutes, significantly enhancing your resource gathering capabilities.
