Konami's developers have shared updates on the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake, targeting a 2025 release. Series producer Noriaki Okamura emphasized a commitment to delivering a high-quality product meeting fan expectations.
Okamura stated in a 4Gamer interview that the studio is intensely focused on completing the game in 2025. While the game is currently playable from start to finish, the team is dedicating the remaining development time to polishing details and enhancing overall quality.
Previous speculation suggested a 2024 release, but according to Konami, the remake is now scheduled for next year. The remake will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The remake aims to retain the essence of the original while incorporating updated gameplay mechanics and modern graphics. Beyond visual enhancements, Okamura also promised new features designed to improve the player experience.
