Marvel Rivals Season 1: Free Skins and New Characters
NetEase Games' Marvel Rivals kicks off Season 1: Eternal Night Falls with a surprise gift for players: free Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch skins! This generous offering is included in the base battle pass. The season, running from January 10th to April 11th, 2025, also introduces the Fantastic Four.
Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman are immediately available, while Human Torch and The Thing arrive in a mid-season update. Leaks suggest Human Torch will be a Duelist and The Thing a Vanguard class character.
Players can earn free cosmetic items beyond the Peni Parker (Blue Tarantula skin, page 3) and Scarlet Witch (Emporium Matron skin, page 9) skins by completing in-game quests and accumulating Chrono Tokens. Note that while Scarlet Witch's emote is free, her MVP animation requires the premium battle pass (990 Lattice, approximately $10). A separate Midnight Features event offers a free Thor skin.
The in-game shop features new premium skins for Invisible Woman (Malice – black and red, spiked design) and Mister Fantastic (The Maker – dark gray and blue, masked). The wealth of new content in Season 1 has generated considerable excitement among Marvel Rivals fans.
