Marvel Rivals Season 1 unleashes new characters, maps, and modes, along with a fresh challenge set rewarding players with freebies, including a Thor skin. This guide focuses on triggering Recursive Destruction in the Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown map.

What is Recursive Destruction?

The "Blood Moon Over the Big Apple" challenge requires triggering Recursive Destruction. This occurs when destroying a Dracula-influenced object, causing it to reappear in its original state. However, not all objects qualify.

Locating Destructible Objects

To identify eligible objects, utilize Chrono Vision (keyboard "B" or console right D-pad). Only red-highlighted objects trigger Recursive Destruction.

This challenge is exclusive to the Quick Match (Midtown) mode. Initially, no red-highlighted objects will be visible. Wait for the first checkpoint; two buildings will then appear, capable of triggering Recursive Destruction.

While engaging in combat, target these buildings. You may not always witness their reappearance due to the fast-paced gameplay, but multiple hits should complete the challenge. If unsuccessful, simply replay the match. After completing this, focus on subsequent challenges involving Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman.

Marvel Rivals is currently available on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
