Tech enthusiasts continue to explore the potential of screen adaptations using modern technology, and their sights are now set on the Witcher series. A concept trailer for a Witcher 3: Wild Hunt adaptation, crafted by the Sora AI YouTube channel, has emerged.
The video cleverly emulates the aesthetic of 1980s films, leveraging neural network technology for its creation. The trailer features numerous recognizable characters from the Witcher universe, including Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, Triss Merigold, Regis, Dijkstra, Priscilla, and others. While there are subtle stylistic differences, the characters remain easily identifiable.
Recently, the developers of The Witcher 3 hinted at the inclusion of Triss's wedding in the game. The "Ashen Marriage" quest, originally intended for Novigrad, would have seen Triss romantically involved with Castello and eager to marry him. Geralt's role would involve assisting with wedding preparations, tasks including ridding the canals of monsters, procuring alcohol, and selecting a wedding gift.
Interestingly, Triss's reaction is directly influenced by the gift Geralt chooses. Less thoughtful gifts receive a lukewarm reception, while a memory rose—a familiar item from The Witcher 2—elicits a much stronger emotional response.
