Unlock the full potential of your devices with the versatile Noir USB Camera Viewer & HDMI Display. Designed to transform your device into a portable display for cameras, gaming consoles, laptops, PCs, or any device with HDMI output, Noir requires an HDMI to USB C dongle—specifically a UVC capture device or Video Capture Card, not just any USB C hub or a USB C to HDMI cable. Noir also supports cameras, endoscopes, and microscopes that feature USB streaming capabilities.
Noir is equipped with UVC video streaming and UAC audio streaming, offering a choice between OpenGL ES and Vulkan for enhanced graphics performance. The free version provides a basic yet immersive experience, albeit with ads outside the preview. Elevate your experience by opting for the pro version, which not only removes ads but also fuels the continuous development and maintenance of Noir.

FAQ
Why doesn't Noir recognize my device?
Possible reasons include your device not supporting USB Host (OTG) or the connected device not being a Video Capture Card. Some devices may require additional power from a USB hub.Why is the preview so laggy?
Lag often results from the USB version. Ensure USB 3.0 compatibility for both your capture card and USB port, or for USB 2.0, stick to MJPEG format at 1080p30fps or below. Why did my capture card, which was working fine, suddenly fail to connect?
System issues are usually to blame. A simple restart of your device can often resolve this. Why does my gaming console or Video playback device show a black screen when connected?
This issue, common with PS5 and PS4, stems from HDCP being enabled. Disable it via your PS console's settings. For other devices, consider an HDMI splitter that bypasses HDCP, though this isn't recommended here. Why are resolutions other than 16:9 and 4:3 not supported?
Current market capture cards primarily support these ratios. Use Noir's Stretch feature to adjust, ensuring your capture card's EDID supports the desired ratio.
