Castle Doombad triumphantly returns to Android as "Castle Doombad: Free To Slay"! Developed by Grumpyface Studios and published by Yodo1, this tower defense strategy game, originally released in 2014, offers a fresh take on villainous fun.
Grumpyface, known for hits like "Steven Universe: Attack the Light" and "Teeny Titans," initially planned a simple remake. However, they cleverly divided the project into two: "Free To Slay" for mobile and "Castle Doombad Classic" for PC and Nintendo Switch (releasing later this year). "Classic" boasts remastered visuals and updated features, while a sequel, "Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha!", is also in development.
