The announcement of the Chainsaw Man movie came in December 2023, serving as a direct sequel to the 2022 MAPPA-produced anime series. The story continues to follow Denji, a young protagonist who gains a new lease on life after forming a pact with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. This partnership grants him the unique ability to transform parts of his body into chainsaws, evolving beyond his initial identity as a mere Chainsaw Man.
"Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc" will introduce audiences to Reze, a pivotal character from the original manga. The film is directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and penned by Hiroshi Seko. Fans will be thrilled to know that the entire voice cast from the anime series is returning to reprise their roles in this cinematic venture.
