Project Mugen, now titled Ananta, is gearing up for a full release after generating significant buzz with its initial promotional materials. The game cleverly blends elements reminiscent of popular titles like Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and even GTA, all presented within a captivating anime aesthetic.
Ananta's 2025 launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices has been greenlit in China. A December 5th trailer showcased the game as an open-world urban RPG, placing players in the role of an A.C.D. agent navigating the sun-kissed coastal city of Nova, a location ripe with mystery and exploration.
This ambitious undertaking is a collaborative effort between NetEase Studios, Thunder Fire Studio, and Naked Rain. The developers highlight the game's global appeal, citing its blend of familiar environments infused with supernatural elements as a key draw.
Key features of Ananta include four-player team-based battles, a distinctive art style, and fluid, high-speed movement.
