Dead Cells Mobile's Final Updates: A Farewell to Free Content
The curtain is falling on free updates for Dead Cells Mobile, but not before two final, action-packed updates: Clean Cut and The End is Near. While future updates are unlikely, players can still enjoy the game's existing content. These final releases, however, introduce a cursed twist.
What's Included?
These updates deliver a hefty dose of new content for Android users:
-
Four New Weapons: Prepare to wield the giant Sewing Scissors and the Misericorde (a sword dealing massive critical damage to low-health enemies—but with a curse if you don't finish them off). The Anathema, a heavy ranged weapon, explodes on impact, also inflicting a curse on contact. Counter this with the new Indulgence skill, a light beam attack that can cleanse some curses.
-
New Game Modes: Experience the thrill of Speedrun and Boss Rush DIY modes.
-
40 New Heads: Customize your character with a vast selection of new heads, easily swapped thanks to a helpful NPC.

New Mutations and Enemies:
The updates also introduce challenging new elements:
-
Cursed Mutations: Experiment with three new mutations: Cursed Flask (use health flasks without consuming charges), Damned Vigor (brief invincibility to kill an enemy), and Demonic Strength (damage boost while cursed).
-
Cursing Enemies: Face off against three new foes: The Sore Loser (curses you upon defeat), The Curser (fires cursed skulls and slashes at close range), and the Doom Bringer (instantly kills you if you accumulate over 50 curses).
Download Dead Cells from the Google Play Store and experience these final updates before they're history! Stay tuned for our upcoming coverage of The Tale of Food Shutdown, an adventure RPG with Food Souls.
