In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, most items are readily available for purchase or, if you prefer a less conventional approach, theft. However, sometimes crafting becomes necessary. This guide explains how to acquire deer skin.
Where to Find Deer Skin in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
As the name implies, deer skin is obtained by skinning deer. This requires unlocking a relevant survival perk. Once unlocked, you can hunt deer and acquire their hides. Deer are common in wooded areas, making them a relatively easy target. However, hunting isn't your only option.
Where to Buy Deer Skin
While hunting is effective, you can also purchase deer skin from various NPCs:
- Weaponsmiths and blacksmiths at Trosky Castle
- Saddlers at Trosky Castle
- Tanners at Vidlak Pond
- Gamekeepers at Zhelejov
Many traders in settlements throughout the game sell deer skin, often replenishing their stock weekly. While Trosky Castle's vendors tend to have a larger supply, smaller settlements also offer this resource. Note that the gamekeeper in Zhelejov may occasionally have trading issues, but as a last resort, you might be able to pickpocket him for some deer skin.
