"Guide to Extracting Items in R.E.P.O. Game"

Author : Penelope Apr 04,2025

In the gripping co-operative horror game *R.E.P.O.*, players are tasked with a thrilling yet perilous mission: to retrieve valuable items and survive against an onslaught of unpredictable monsters. Each successful extraction not only tests your survival skills but also rewards you with cash that you can use to enhance your gear. The game's AI Taxman adds an extra layer of challenge, keeping you on your toes as you navigate through increasingly difficult levels.

Securing these valuable items requires you to reach the Extraction Point, where your C.A.R.T. of treasures is evaluated, and you're allowed to proceed to the Service Station with your earnings. As you delve deeper into *R.E.P.O.*, mastering the extraction process becomes essential, transforming what initially feels overwhelming into a manageable routine as you overcome more challenges and monsters.

How to Extract in R.E.P.O.

In your initial foray into *R.E.P.O.*, you'll find a single Extraction Point. However, as you progress through different locations, the number of Extraction Points can increase up to a maximum of four. You can monitor your extraction goals by looking at the red number in the right-hand corner of your screen, which indicates both the total number of drop-offs needed and how many you've already completed.

At the start of each level, the first Extraction Point is conveniently located near your R.E.P.O. truck, ensuring a straightforward initial drop-off. Subsequent points, however, require more strategy and exploration.

After securing your first haul, you'll need to explore further to find additional Extraction Points. The Taxman's demands remain a mystery until you reach these points, making your in-game map an invaluable tool. By pressing "Tab" on your keyboard, you can view unexplored areas, helping you plan your routes effectively. This feature is particularly useful in co-op play, allowing your team to cover more ground simultaneously.

Locating the next Extraction Point might require both your eyes and ears. Once found, activate the large red button to learn if you've gathered enough items. If you have, place your C.A.R.T. within the designated grey area to ensure none of your valuables are destroyed. After completing this step, you'll either move on to the next Extraction Point or attempt to return to your truck safely.

It's important to note that after the final Extraction Point's valuables are counted, you don't need to take your C.A.R.T. back to the truck with you. A new one will be available in the next location or level.

With these insights on extracting items in *R.E.P.O.*, you're better equipped to tackle the game's challenges. Be sure to explore our other guides for more tips and strategies to enhance your gameplay experience.
