If you're a fan of Japanese music, you're no stranger to HYDE, the legendary artist who has graced Madison Square Garden and sold over 40 million records. Now, he's stepping into the gaming world as the star of a new endless runner game, Hyde Run, which has just launched globally.
Originally released in Japan, Hyde Run is now available worldwide, courtesy of developer and publisher Phoenixx. The game offers fans a unique way to celebrate HYDE's illustrious career through an experience packed with references to his music and journey.
Move, Jump or Slide in Hyde Run
In Hyde Run, you'll take on the role of HYDE as you navigate through a dynamic concert stage intertwined with a futuristic Tokyo. The game propels you into a high-speed chase across Neo Tokyo, where you'll dodge obstacles, perform wall-runs past vibrant billboards, and collect musical notes.
Unlike typical endless runners, Hyde Run immerses you in a world buzzing with neon lights and the electric energy of a guitar solo, tailored specifically for HYDE's fans. As you dash through the city, you can snag various power-ups, including magnets to attract notes and barriers to shield you from damage.
Before embarking on your run, you can equip items to enhance your performance. Use a Note Gain to increase your note collection or a Barrier to avoid tripping over obstacles.
Additionally, you can gather crystals to unlock exclusive outfits and room items from HYDE's career, along with voice clips from the artist himself through the Microphone Stand.

There’s More Stuff in the Game to Do
Hyde Run also lets you personalize HYDE's room with memorabilia spanning his 20-year career, from tour gear to hidden items that unlock special messages and voice notes from HYDE.
Currently, there's a range of limited-time content available until June 10th, 2025. The THE LAST ROCKSTARS Costume Set lets you dress HYDE in an iconic look from his music video, complete with matching ROCK Furniture like leopard prints, vintage trunks, and stage spotlights.
For a more relaxed vibe, there's the Bat Jinbei Costume Set, perfect for a summer festival feel. Complement this with a traditional Japanese-style furniture set featuring bamboo, bonboris, and a wind chime modeled after HYDE's Edyh character.
