KonoSuba: Fantastic Days, the popular mobile RPG by Sesisoft, is ceasing operations on January 30th, 2025. After nearly five years of service, both the global and Japanese servers will be simultaneously shut down. However, a glimmer of hope remains: developers are reportedly working on a limited offline version preserving the main storyline, key quests, and events. Details are scarce, but this offline experience could offer a lasting memento for players.
Regarding in-app purchases, all such transactions have been disabled since October 31st, 2024. Existing in-game Quartz and items remain usable until the service ends. Players eligible for refunds on unused Quartz or unclaimed purchases from early 2024 have until January 30th, 2025, to submit their requests. Official channels will close on February 28th, 2025.
Launched in Japan in February 2020 and globally in August 2021, KonoSuba: Fantastic Days was the first mobile game based on the KonoSuba franchise. The game's charming narrative, appealing visuals, and visual novel-style story mode were well-received. Unfortunately, like many gacha RPGs, it succumbed to the challenges of maintaining player engagement and the high costs of ongoing development.
With only a few months remaining, now is your last chance to experience KonoSuba: Fantastic Days. Download it from the Google Play Store. For more gaming news, check out our article on Orna: The GPS MMORPG's Conqueror's Guild for PvP Battles.
