Marvel Rivals' Upcoming PvE Mode and Season 1 Details
Rumors suggest a PvE mode is in development for the popular hero shooter, Marvel Rivals. A prominent leaker, RivalsLeaks, claims a source played a PvE mode earlier and that further evidence was found in game files by another leaker, RivalsInfo. However, the leaker acknowledges the possibility of cancellation or delay. Separately, a Capture the Flag mode is also rumored to be in development, hinting at ambitious expansion plans from NetEase Games.
Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, will introduce Dracula as the primary antagonist and add the Fantastic Four to the playable roster. A new map, a darker version of New York City, is also anticipated. A trailer showcasing these additions has already been released.
Ultron's Arrival Delayed?
Further leaks from RivalsLeaks indicate that the villain Ultron, whose abilities (a Strategist capable of deploying healing or harmful drones) were recently revealed, has been delayed until Season 2 or later. This is speculated to be due to the inclusion of four new characters in Season 1. The delay has sparked discussion amongst fans, with some speculating about the potential introduction of Blade soon after the Fantastic Four, given Dracula's presence in Season 1 and existing leaks regarding Blade's abilities. The anticipation for Season 1 remains high despite the Ultron delay.
