Marvel Rivals Season 1: Dracula, Fantastic Four, and Balance Changes Detailed
NetEase Games' latest developer update unveils exciting changes for Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST. This season introduces Dracula as the primary antagonist and expands the roster with the highly anticipated Fantastic Four. Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman arrive on day one, with Human Torch and the Thing joining the fray six to seven weeks later.
The Season 1 battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), offers 10 skins and rewards players with 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion. Three new maps and a fresh game mode, "Doom Match," further enhance the gameplay experience.
Significant balance adjustments are also in store. Hela and Hawkeye, deemed overpowered in Season 0, will receive nerfs. Conversely, mobility-focused Vanguards like Captain America and Venom are slated for buffs to improve their battlefield effectiveness. Wolverine and Storm will also see improvements, encouraging more strategic use of these mutants. Cloak and Dagger receive boosts to enhance their team versatility. Finally, adjustments to Jeff the Land Shark are planned to better align his early warning indicators with his ultimate ability's actual hitbox. While his ultimate's power level has been a point of discussion, NetEase Games hasn't announced significant changes to it at this time.
While the developer update remains silent on potential adjustments to the Seasonal Bonus feature, it's anticipated that some heroes will see their bonuses altered. This feature has been a subject of debate within the community, with many players advocating for its removal to improve overall balance.
Season 1 promises a wealth of new content and balance refinements, generating considerable excitement among players eager to experience the updated Marvel Rivals.
