Parallel Experiment, a co-op crime thriller puzzler from Eleven Puzzles, is set to launch on Steam this March. A mobile demo is also planned for iOS and Android later in the year, with a full mobile release to follow.
This intriguing title puts you in the shoes of detectives Ally and Old Dog as you unravel the mystery surrounding a ruthless killer. Similar in spirit to games like Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, Parallel Experiment challenges players to solve puzzles collaboratively, even when separated geographically.
With over 80 individual puzzles, an in-game notebook for clue tracking, cooperative dialogue, and a stylish noir comic book aesthetic, the game promises a unique and engaging experience. Adding a touch of playful chaos, the game even includes features to playfully annoy your partner, such as knocking on windows or poking them.
What's in the box?!
Cross-platform play is a key feature, adding a layer of ingenuity to the gameplay. While desktop players can easily communicate via Discord, the mobile version opens up opportunities for creative in-person communication and distraction tactics. While the co-op puzzle genre isn't new, Parallel Experiment benefits from the lessons learned from previous titles, promising a refined and enjoyable mobile experience.
