Pokémon GO Unveils New Unova Tour Pass
Get ready for the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova! A new Tour Pass, available from February 24th to March 9th, offers exciting rewards and progression milestones. This pass builds anticipation for the upcoming Unova-themed event, featuring Gen 5 Pokémon encounters, raids, and egg hatches.
The Pokémon GO Tour is an annual event celebrating a different Pokémon region. Past Tours have featured Kanto and Sinnoh, introducing shiny Pokémon and unique variants.
This year's Unova Tour Pass offers a free track and a premium deluxe version. Players earn Tour Points by completing tasks like catching Pokémon and participating in raids, unlocking rewards along the way. Milestones provide items like Candy and Stickers, culminating in a special Zorua encounter. All rewards expire March 9th at 6 pm local time.
Deluxe Pass Details:
A deluxe Tour Pass ($14.99 USD) is available from February 24th at 10 am to March 2nd at 6 pm local time on the Pokémon GO in-app store. This pass grants all free and paid track rewards, plus an encounter with the Mythical Pokémon Victini and a Lucky Trinket. The Lucky Trinket instantly transforms a friend into a Lucky Friend, guaranteeing a Lucky Pokémon on your next trade before resetting the status. A faster progression deluxe pass with 10 ranks unlocked is also available for $19.99. Deluxe Pass rewards, including the Lucky Trinket, also expire March 9th at 6 pm local time.
The Unova Tour Pass adds extra excitement to the upcoming event, which will feature the debut of Kyurem (Black and White forms) via fusion, mirroring last year's Necrozma debut. Shiny Meloetta will also make its appearance via a ticketed Masterwork Research.
