The latest expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket, dubbed Shining Revelry, has introduced shiny variants that are turning heads. With over 110 new cards added to the game, including captivating additions from the Paldea region, players are buzzing with excitement. Personally, I found myself tempted to use more of my precious Hourglasses for a chance at a dazzling 10-pack pull. Fortunately, my efforts were rewarded with a Charizard EX, although the rest of my haul left something to be desired. However, pulling a Pokémon Center Lady was a silver lining; her ability to heal Special Conditions is a strategic asset when facing off against debilitating effects like Burn.
Following the pattern of previous updates, Shining Revelry comes with an Emblem event, offering players the chance to earn new badges to flaunt among friends. The real excitement, however, stems from the upcoming Ranked Matches. As you battle against fellow Trainers, you'll climb the ranks from Beginner to Master Ball, with your progress tracked by points and culminating in an emblem at the end of the season, which lasts approximately one month. It's time for me to dust off my dueling skills and start crafting some competitive decks.
