Flat2VR Studios has exciting news for fans of the iconic trash shooter, Postal 2, which first hit the shelves 22 years ago. They've announced a virtual reality adaptation, and the debut trailer showcases the game's trademark humor and chaotic gameplay. The trailer follows the Dude as he gathers signatures to support the development of Postal 2 VR. Later, the developers reveal some of the remake's standout features, including a redesigned shooting mechanic tailored for VR controllers, an updated user interface, and a refreshed mini-map system.
A Steam page for Postal 2: VR is now live, featuring screenshots, system requirements, and additional details. To play the PC version, users will need at least Windows 10, an Intel Core i5-4590 or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 290 GPU, and 8 GB of RAM. Unfortunately, Russian voiceovers won’t be part of the package, though subtitles will be provided.
Despite the modern upgrades, the core experience remains true to the original. Players are tasked with completing everyday errands like grocery shopping and returning books to the library, but they’re free to abandon normalcy and embrace absolute mayhem whenever they choose.
