How to Get Wood, Minerals, and Crops in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, you can acquire Hideout resources through three main methods:
- By completing quests
- By completing Contracts
- By looting chests
Quest completion and chest looting are straightforward. Many side quests will reward you with ample resources, and you can also find them by exploring restricted areas. When you enter a restricted area or castle, hold the L2 or LT button to scan your surroundings. You’ll spot golden and white orbs that indicate the presence of chests and other lootable caches.
Occasionally, you'll encounter large resource caches which you can mark for your scouts to pilfer and transport back to your base.
However, for the most efficient resource farming, you should focus on completing Contracts.
Completing Contracts
As you develop your base, you'll be prompted to construct a Kakurega building in your Hideout. This addition not only boosts your number of scouts but also unlocks special quests known as Contracts. These Contracts are designed to help you farm essential resources like wood, minerals, crops, and even metal and silk needed for weapon and armor upgrades.
To access your Contracts, navigate to the Kakurega building within your Hideout and interact with the small table inside to view available Contracts. Accept them and locate them on your map, marked by a katana icon. Completing these quests will yield a substantial amount of resources, making them a crucial step if you're aiming for significant Hideout upgrades.
