Marvel Rivals' Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, introduces a thrilling new map: the Sanctum Sanctorum. This iconic location will host the new 8-12 player Doom Match mode, a free-for-all battle where the top half emerges victorious. The season's storyline pits the Fantastic Four against Dracula, a formidable new antagonist.
The Sanctum Sanctorum is one of three Season 1 maps, alongside Midtown and Central Park. Midtown will be the backdrop for a new convoy mission, while Central Park's details remain shrouded in mystery, promised for a major mid-season update.
A recent video showcased the Sanctum Sanctorum's unique design, blending opulent decor with the bizarre. Expect floating cookware, a refrigerator-dwelling squid-like creature, winding staircases, levitating bookshelves, and powerful artifacts – all within Doctor Strange's mystical abode (even featuring a cheerful portrait of the Sorcerer Supreme himself!). The video also offers a first glimpse of Wong, a beloved character new to the game, and Doctor Strange's ghostly canine companion, Bats.
