The Last of Us Season 2 Release Date Confirmed

HBO's highly anticipated The Last of Us Season 2 premieres this April! Mark your calendars for Sunday, April 13th at 9pm ET/PT, streaming simultaneously on Max. This seven-episode season promises a thrilling continuation of Joel and Ellie's journey.

Five years after the events of Season 1, we find Joel and Ellie settling into life with Tommy in his Montana commune. Season 2 adapts the events of The Last of Us Part 2, so fans of the game are in for a wild ride. Prepare for familiar faces and some exciting new additions to the cast.

Returning are Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie. Joining them are: Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Merle Dandridge as Marlene (note: corrected name from original text), Lamar Johnson as Frank, Keivonn Woodard as young Sam, Graham Greene as Marlon, and Melanie Lynskey as Kathleen. Tati Gabrielle also joins the cast in an undisclosed role.
