Komatsuzaki's distinctive art style and Kodaka's design expertise, hallmarks of the popular PSP visual novel Danganronpa, are reunited in this exciting new title. Set in a dystopian Neo-Tokyo of 20XX, Tribe Nine casts players as teenagers competing in the deadly Extreme Games orchestrated by the enigmatic Zero.
Pre-registration rewards include the Parallel Cypher/Y skin for Koishi Kohinata. The game blends thrilling action with a retro aesthetic, featuring retro-style sprite exploration of the overworld and full 3D battles. Players can experiment with equipment and Tension Cards to create unique character builds.
While Danganronpa may be considered a classic now, its innovative blend of art and murder-mystery gameplay once set it apart. Whether Tribe Nine achieves similar success remains to be seen.
