Valheim's Wandering Merchants: Locations and Inventory Guide
Valheim's challenge lies in exploring diverse biomes and gathering resources to conquer formidable bosses. The journey is eased, however, by the presence of three helpful merchants, each offering unique and valuable items. Their locations, however, are procedurally generated, making them tricky to find. This guide details the location and inventory of each merchant.
Finding Haldor (Black Forest Merchant)
Haldor, often the easiest to locate, spawns within a 1500m radius of your world's center, typically in the Black Forest. He's frequently near Elder spawn points (identified by glowing ruins in Burial Chambers). For a quicker search, utilize the Valheim World Generator (created by wd40bomber7) to pinpoint his exact coordinates using your world seed. Once found, build a portal for easy access. Trade with Haldor using gold acquired from exploring dungeons and selling gems (Rubies, Amber Pearls, Silver Necklaces, etc.).

Locating Hildir (Meadows Merchant)
Hildir resides in the Meadows biome, but her spawn point is further from the world center than Haldor's, making her harder to find. The Valheim World Generator is the quickest method; otherwise, search Meadows within a 3000-5100m radius, with potential spawn points approximately 1000m apart. A T-shirt icon appears on the map when you're within 300-400m. Build a portal after finding her. Hildir offers clothing with stamina reduction buffs and unique quests leading to new dungeons and items.
