Wuthering Waves' Dream Patrols offer engaging combat challenges. While most are straightforward, some, like "Knight in a Storm," prove trickier. This guide helps you conquer this specific patrol and secure all its rewards.
The "Knight in a Storm" Dream Patrol, located in the Shores of Last Breath area (Fagaceae Peninsula, east of Ragunna City), presents a unique challenge. The knight itself is easily defeated, but obtaining all chests requires completing all objectives. Access this patrol after activating the Resonance Nexus and completing the "Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms" quest. Teleporting to the nearby Tacet Field (Sonata set location) provides the quickest route.
The patrol's objectives are:
- Maintain Battle Rank S for over 10 seconds: Achieve this through perfect dodges, parries, and ability usage (including Intro/Outro skills).
- Execute 3 Interrupting Counterattacks: Successfully parry the knight's attacks when its weapon is enhanced.
- Immobilize the enemy with Resonance Liberation DMG: Stun the knight using your character's ultimate ability (depleting the white bar below its health).
Defeating the Enhanced Weapon:
The knight enhances its weapon by summoning three swords, selecting one for enhancement. During this enhancement, it performs aerial lunge attacks—your counterattack opportunity. Parry when the parry indicators overlap the knight, then attack to interrupt. Repeat this process three times to complete this objective.
Carlotta players can effectively parry using jump attacks or rifle shots (during Resonance Liberation or when possessing Molded Crystal stacks).
