NetEase's Marvel Rivals is generating significant buzz ahead of its Season 1 update. Many players are eager to access the new content early. While early access was primarily granted to the game's Creator Community, here's how to potentially gain access in future updates.

Marvel Rivals characters poised for battle, Wolverine centralThe excitement surrounding Marvel Rivals' Season 1 stems from the steady stream of online reveals. Developers have been showcasing the new content via social media, but many streamers received early access, leaving some players feeling excluded. Here's how to improve your chances for future early access:

Join the Creator Community. This group of players receives early access to updates and other exclusive information. While the application process doesn't explicitly require specific follower counts or channel statistics, applicants should have an established online presence. New accounts created solely for early access are less likely to be accepted.

Steps to Apply (for future updates):

  1. Visit the Creator Hub on the official Marvel Rivals website.
  2. Locate and complete the application form.
  3. Await a response from NetEase Games.

Season 1 Content:

While the Creator Community window for Season 1 is likely closed, the update launches on Friday, January 10th. Season 1 introduces Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman as playable characters, alongside new maps, game modes, and a Battle Pass offering 10 unlockable skins (including Blood Berserker Wolverine and Bounty Hunter Rocket Raccoon). Existing characters will also receive balance adjustments (buffs and nerfs). For detailed balance changes, refer to The Escapist's comprehensive analysis.

Marvel Rivals is currently available on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
