Microsoft has recently unveiled an impressive lineup of titles set to join Xbox Game Pass in the first half of April 2025, featuring a mix of highly anticipated first- and third-party games. This exciting list includes titles such as South of Midnight, Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition, and Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition, among others.
According to a recent Xbox Wire post, the month kicks off with a bang starting April 3. Gearbox Software's Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition will be available across Cloud, Console, and PC for all tiers. Additionally, All You Need Is Help, Still Wakes the Deep, and Wargroove 2 will join Game Pass Standard on the same day. This diverse selection ensures that Xbox enthusiasts will have plenty to explore throughout the month. Just five days later, on April 8, subscribers can look forward to South of Midnight and Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition, available for all Game Pass members on Cloud, PC, Console, and Xbox Series X | S.
South of Midnight, developed by Compulsion Games, promises to be one of Xbox's standout releases of the year. Set in the Deep South, this folklore adventure invites players to delve into its rich mythos and confront mysterious creatures. Microsoft's official description teases an immersive experience where players will learn to harness ancient powers to overcome challenges and confront the haunting past of their hometown.
The excitement continues with Commandos: Origins joining Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on April 9, followed by Blue Prince on April 10 for the same tiers. Rounding out the initial wave of releases, Hunt: Showdown 1896 will be added for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers on April 15.
Alongside the new games, Xbox Game Pass perks are also getting an update for the first half of April 2025. Notable perks include the Beyond the Void Bundle for The First Descendant, the Sweet Starter Pack for Candy Crush Solitaire on mobile devices, and a special anniversary Seventh Serving Emote for Sea of Thieves fans.
