Game Introduction

War of Empire Conquest (WOE) is an enthralling real-time strategy (RTS) mobile game that thrives on competitive player versus player (PvP) action. In WOE, one player initiates a match, inviting others to join in the fray, where they can engage in epic battles with full manual control over an array of units and buildings, offering a high degree of freedom in gameplay.

Main Elements:

WOE immerses players in the medieval ages, simulating 18 powerful Empires or civilizations, including China, Japan, Persia, Teutonic, Mongolian, Gothic, and Maya, among others. Each Empire boasts 8 types of regular units and 1 unique unit, with the regular units being consistent across all Empires. The unique units, like Mongolia's Riders, Persia's War Elephants, and Spain's Conquistadors, add distinctive flavors to each civilization's strategy.

The regular units include:

  1. Swordsman: A staple unit in every army.
  2. Pikeman: Effective against Cavalry but vulnerable to arrows.
  3. Archers: Strong against Pikemen but susceptible to Cavalry.
  4. Light Cavalry: Renowned for speed and mobility, ideal for hit-and-run tactics.
  5. Aries: Specialized in demolishing enemy buildings.

The game features a variety of buildings, such as:

  1. Tower: Primarily an offensive structure; with 5 farmers, it can fire 6 arrows simultaneously.
  2. Turret: Designed to raze enemy structures.

Each Empire in WOE has its strengths and weaknesses, encouraging players to delve into the game for detailed insights. Here's a glimpse:

  1. Huns: No need for housing, saving time and resources. Their Cavalry is 20% cheaper and can be upgraded to Rangers.
  2. Teutonic: Boasts powerful warriors reminiscent of Spartan legends, though they are slower on the battlefield.

Highlights:

The essence of WOE's gameplay revolves around juggling multiple strategies simultaneously:

  1. Develop Economy: Continuously produce farmers and gather resources, utilizing structures like the Town Center (TC) and Towers as temporary shelters.
  2. Harass Enemies: Early game, deploy small units to disrupt enemy farmers, building an advantage.
  3. Destroy Enemies: Engage in direct combat to conquer opponents.

Cooperation is key; forming legions with allies to overcome numerically superior forces and safeguard units with high damage but low health is crucial. Additionally, understanding unit counters and fostering teamwork are vital:

  • Pikemen counter Cavalry.
  • Cavalry counters Archers.
  • Archers counter Pikemen.
  • Slaves (riding camels) counter Cavalry.
  • Koryo Carriages counter all ranged units.

Game Modes:

WOE features two primary resources: Food and Gold. As the game progresses, the Town Center can be upgraded from the Dark Ages through the Feudal Era, Castle Era, to the Emperor Era, unlocking new technologies and additional building and unit types.

The game offers a range of modes, with the most popular being:

  1. Normal Mode: With limited resources, focus on development while deploying small units for early harassment. This mode is complex yet highly engaging.
  2. Imperial Deathmatch Mode: Start in the Emperor Era with ample resources, enabling players to dive straight into intense battles.

Main Features:

Having been operational for 4 years in China and upgraded to version 1.8.n, WOE offers a rich set of features:

  1. Player vs. CPU battles.
  2. Networked multiplayer.
  3. Spectator mode for watching matches.
  4. Replay functionality to review past games.
  5. Map creation tools.
  6. Legion system for forming alliances.
  7. Friends list and communication features.
  8. In-game chat for real-time interaction.
