Blizzard has unveiled exciting details about the upcoming in-game housing system in World of Warcraft: Midnight. While the expansion won't launch until after The War Within concludes (as part of the Worldsoul saga), early previews hint at a level of customization exceeding many players' expectations.
A recent developer blog showcased in-game videos demonstrating furniture placement. Items snap to a grid for easy organization, and players can decorate larger pieces, like shelves or tables, with smaller accessories that remain attached when moved.
The system offers two modes: a Basic Mode for simpler arrangements and an Advanced Mode for creative freedom. Advanced Mode allows for rotation on all three axes and creative stacking, enabling the construction of intricate and visually stunning interiors.

Specific furniture pieces designed for this system will support recoloring, although this may not be available for all existing assets.
With Midnight still months away, Blizzard continues to generate excitement for the expansion, keeping players engaged and anticipating future updates.
